Identity Impersonate Encryption by Microsoft RRS feed

  • Hi,

    Is there a way to decrypt the identity impersonate that Microsoft has encrypted?

  • Not sure whether this a VB.NET or ASP.NET application but you can determine the identity of the impersonated user if that is what you are asking. No you cannot determine the password of the authenticated user, however; if this is a web application and you are using Basic authentication w/o SSL then the user ID and password are not transmitted securely.
