Outlook 2010 form design RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello developers,

I'm attempting to do something simple with Outlook that I know I've done in other programs before, but I'm finding myself stumped.  What I'd like to do as part of this form design is pre-populate the TO field to ensure it always goes to one mailbox.  I can't seem to figure out where in the properties I can put this in.

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • You have to use code (most likely during the Item_Open event): either set MailItem. To with the desired SMTP value(s), or add Recipient objects to the MailItem.Recipients collection.  Note that the control bound to the To field isn't directly accessible.
