Is it possible to trust a third party certificate to use in a Logic App? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I need to call a Web API from a Logic App and this API is secured by <g class="gr_ gr_183 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" data-gr-id="183" id="183">a</g> SSL server certificate issued by a third party authority (not an authority that is trusted by default in Azure).

Is it possible to add this root authority as a trusted authority to be used in a Logic App HTTP connector?

  • Hi David,

You are right. At this stage there is no way to trust a self-signed certificate directly in logic apps. There are a couple of workarounds.

    1) You could proxy your call via API Management (the new price of the APIM Basic tier makes it much more attractive than before).

    2) You could create a proxy API App, and deal with the certificate trusting in coding there.

    I hope this helps, Wagner.
