After moving to VS2010, we start using Platform Toolset V100 for our C++ projects, as recommended. Recently, we detected some significant memory leak, under the following conditions:
1. Must have one or more source files with managed code.
2. LeakDiag revealed the leak was originated from mscoreei.dll.
3. The main application must be highly multi-threaded. In our case, it is a service and a new thread is created for every new request coming in.
4. No leak is seen if Toolset V90 is used.Tuesday, December 04, 2012 7:55 PM
