Unable to display Lookup Columns RRS feed

  • Unable to see Lookup Fields in the InfoPath Display Form...

    I have Parent Child Lists when Parent ID is set on the Child List, Parent Info Is displayed on the form Display form.

    When I edited the from in InfoPath, I"m unable to see the Lookup Fields of Parent Info.

  • Hi Khaliq_Techscrip,

    Yes, Lookup column addition fields would not include in original Custom list InfoPath form. But you could add it to the form manually.

    Here are some main steps for your refer.

    1.       Open custom form, add a new data connection to receiver data from parent list.

    2.       Add a new text box control, bind Info filed to the control as its data source.
    1)     Right click text box control > Text Box Properties

    2)       Click fx button.

    3)       Click Insert Filed or Group.

    4)       Select Info field from parent(Secondary) data source (There would be 2 parent data sources, please select the one contains Info field.)

    5)       Click Filter Data button.

    6)       Click Add.

    7)       Select a field or group > select the ID filed from the parent data connection which contains Info filed > OK.

    8)       Select is equal to.

    9)       Select a filed or group > Select the lookup column form the Main data connection (or select the ID column from the parent data connection which without Info field.) > Click OK.

    10)   Save and publish the custom list form.
