I can't find the Toolbox in Visual Studio

    Question

  • I am trying to make a C++ GUI project in Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate, but it seems I don't have a toolbox to add items.

I've already checked View-> other windows, and toolbox is not there. Also, there is no toolbox when I use the Quick launch to search for it. Please help!

  • Hi Rafael Leafar,

Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

Please go to View -> Toolbox, to open the toolbox.

If it doesn't have controls on it, please check the following steps to make sure that you have created the C++ GUI project:

    (1) New Project -> C++ -> CLR, CLR empty project

    (2) Right click the project, Add new item, please check the following window:

    (3) After adding the windows form, you will find the toolbox:

    Best Regards,
