How do I display Static Text (e.g. a copyright message in a corner) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    I'd like to display some static text on the map.

    (Or add some text to the Copyright Control)

    Thanks...

    Andrew

    (Seems like a question that would have been asked before. I tried searching the forum, but came up with nothing)

  • If you want to make the text sit on the map like a label you can use a custom pushpin and set the HTML content like this: http://www.bingmapsportal.com/ISDK/AjaxV7#Pushpins15

    If you simply want to display some text above the map and not have it move, like the copyright text, then simply float a div over the map using standard HTML and CSS. For example:

    <div style=";width:600px;height:400px;">
    	<div id='myMap' style=";width:600px;height:400px;"></div>
    	<div style=";top:50px;right:200px;">Hello World</div>
    </div>
