    how long does the local storage for silverlight apps last? can it persist?

  • it is never a good idea to store the users password on their local machine(save a hash instead).

    But yes, you can store a password in a file in isolated storage.

    If you right click a silverlight application you can delete storage asscoiated with any application.

    And baring registry hacks and random deletion of folders on the machine then the isolated storage never expires.
