  • Windows Mobile Apps can be installed freely, without any involve or approve , from an App Store, like Apple iPhone & iPad Apps/App Store?

    There many ways configure your WM App, how to get installed, what are?

    What is the most common way, after finish an App, how this App, is to get installed in a WM Phone?

  • You will need to create a cab file (Windows mobile installer)

     

    You can find info on creating cabs here:

    Alternatively in visual studio you can create a cab deployment project (Under "Other project types"->"Setup and Deployment") where you can include your files and setting, this is basically a nice gui wrapper for the manual creation of a cab file.

     

    If you are looking at a commercial or even consumer release you may want to get your cab file signed to avoid security question asking if you trust the vendor - verisign do this.

    If the device is security off, which will not pop up any security information. If a device is Locked or Mobile2Market Locked

    , we have to install related certificate to install it, without it,we can't install it successfully. For more information:

    Device Security and certificate problems.
