  • Hello Rishi Rajput,

    I find the same problem:

    • Calling custom action ManagedCustomActions!Microsoft.Xde.CustomAction.CustomActions.EnableHyperV
    •     Hyper-V feature status: Unknown
    •     Dism.exe /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:Microsoft-Hyper-V /All /NoRestart exited with code = -2146498548
    •     Hyper-V feature status: Failed to Enable
    • CustomAction EnableHyperVCA.844ACA3D_A010_4E95_A942_A25A60050973 returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)

Custome action, enable hyperV returned error. Then I saw that you are on Windows 10 Home version. Sorry that this version does not support hyper-V. Please see the system requirements below:

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/windows/apps/mt162269.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    Operating system

    • Windows 8 or higher (Windows 10 strongly recommended)
    • 64-bit
    • Pro edition or higher

    Best regards,

    Barry

  • Have you enabled HyperThreading in BIOS, it is usually off by default and required by the emulator?

  • I don't see any option for hyperthreading in bios. i have enabled intel virtualization technology in bios and i am using vmware player for some virtual machines which are working fine.

  • Yes you need to enable that and it should work. Anyway not too hard to try even if it doesn't :).

  • I don't see any option for enabling hyperthreading in bios. But i think it is enabled by default. I have read on web that if logical processors are more than number of cores then hyperthreading is enabled.
