Error while provide access at entity level in MDS 2012. RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    I am trying to provide access to an MDS Group to have update access to an entity. But, as soon as i click on an entity and then click on "UPDATE", the page crashes. The error message and screen shot are as below: -

    MDS Error: 0 : Service started successfully,  Assembly version: 11.0.0.0, file version: 11.0.3000.0 ((SQL11_PCU_Main).121019-1325 )
        DateTime=2013-03-11T08:50:08.6858066Z
    MDS Error: 0 : ApiContractVersion: 5102
        DateTime=2013-03-11T08:50:08.6868066Z
    MDS Error: 0 : LogError : Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object.
        DateTime=2013-03-11T08:52:17.5158066Z

  • Hi Nagesh,

    Please try to modify <appSettings> under the following path:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Master Data Services\WebApplication

    For example:
    <configuration>
         <appSettings>
         <add key="aspnet:MaxHttpCollectionKeys" value="2000" />
        </appSettings>
    </configuration>
