How to play .mp4.m3u8 file in windwos 8? RRS feed

    HI

      I am making a project in windows 8 in this I have to play a video file but the url of video is coming from api and this is 

    http://wpc.1F21.edgecastcdn.net/031F21/immtv/Youthday_Odessa1.mp4.m3u8

    I am able to play this video in my windows phone 8 project but not able to play in windows 8.

    also able to play  in w8.1 . only facing issue in windows 8.

    Please let me know whats the solution for same.

    I don't think this is a supported format for Windows 8:
