Yes. Even when configured to use Windows authentication, the administrator must add those Windows users allowed to use the app within the Users screen under the Administration node. This allows an administrator to assign specific roles to each of those users in the Roles screen. In the next release, we'll give the developer the option to choose whether the app can be accessed by any authenticated Windows user, not just those that have been added in the Users screen.

Jayaram, for Administration node in design time you should check the box 'Grant for debug' against the 'Security Administration' permission.

But then how come the administration screen never gets displayed.
"Even when configured to use Windows authentication, the administrator must add those Windows users allowed to use the app within the Users screen under the Administration node" How? I don't see the screen.
Even with Form authentication unless I set the Users as start up I do not see the Administration node in the browser display. However, If I set to use Users for start up then I can see the admin node in the display.
Edited (3/5/2011) : Perhaps using the admin screen is only possible in a deployed application and not in design mode.
Edited 2(3/5/2011): Well it did show up today. I wonder why it did not in my earlier attempts.
