  • Skip the registration as you will never get out of there. you can do this by setting the following registry key

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Embedded Compact\7.0]
        "WeduRegistered"="1"

  • I am having the same problem as KC Cheng. “Windows Embedded Compact” was not under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ on my machine so I manually added HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Embedded Compact\7.0 and also WeduRegistered as a DWORD value set to 1. This did not fix the problem. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help

  • OMG it is a STRING value!!!

    I saw the same suggestion else where and tried with DWORD value.

    I actually tried to use wireshark to capture the problematic URL and the remote is actually offering a redirect URL, went there and manually updated personal and company profile and etc, but it still fail.

    who on earth like to use a string to store value 1?

    THANKS a lot.
