SemanticZoom has wrong source item using GridView with VariableSizeWrapGrid RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I have a SemanticZoom control with two GridViews in it. I set the second ones itemspaneltemplate to VariableSizedWrapGrid. Let's say I have so much content that the second GridView is wider than the screen. If I scroll to the right and start to zoom the source item in the SemanticZoom gives me a wrong item (from the left side elements of the GridView). Also the bounds are strange...  When I click the item ( or tap it) everything works just fine.

    What should I do to make it work?

    Thanks,

    CssaBee

  • Place your coding like this order

    <SemanticZoom ...>
      <SemanticZoom.ZoomedOutView>
        zoomedOutViewContent
      </SemanticZoom.ZoomedOutView>
      <SemanticZoom.ZoomedInView>
        zoomedInViewContent
      </SemanticZoom.ZoomedInView>
    </SemanticZoom>

  • Zoom1.ToggleActiveView();

    Use this code in On Navigated Function

    Zoom1 is semantic zoom name

  • It definitely toggles between views, but it won't tell me which item/group I want to zoom into.
