Making a Windows Desktop PC RRS feed

  • i'm planning on building a new Windows PC a desktop tower system and I found where bootable Disks/Jump Drives are sold at so I can add an operating system. I need to know is a bootable disk help on freshly blank HDD so I can add Windows on it and then upgrade to Windows 10? The bootable Disks/Jump Drives they have are windows 7 and windows 8.1

  • You can install Windows on either a blank disk purchased from a store or a disk with an existing partition and any version of Windows on it.  On the blank disk you can use the Custom advanced option to format the disk and install.  When there is a previous version just choose the Upgrade option.
