Can thread priority be modified?

    Question

  • It appears that desktop apps can do this, but not Windows Store apps.  Could anyone shed some light on this?

  • The Store API for System.Threading does not have a Thread class, and therefore no priority property. I don't know how else you would achieve this.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
