SSP Access Denied after restore

Question

I backed up MOSS 2007 farm onto a disk. I then restore the back onto a different machine using the Web interface(Central Admin backup tool). The two machines are two independent domain controllers that do not have a trust relationship with each other.

I selected new configuration and entered new machine credentials for all login/password entry box during restore. The SSP service credential login is the new machine's domain admin.

When I click on the SSP's user profile and properties link I get the Access Denied error. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Access to User Profile is limited even for Farm Admins and has to be additionally granted in the Central Administration. Maybe it failed there.
