Time out error

Hi all,

I am getting the below error when the application issues a query very randomly.

Server: The operation has been cancelled. XML for Analysis parser: The XML for Analysis request timed out before it was completed.

Any insight on how to trouble shoot the issue is appreciated.

Is this error consistent with the particular query?  Have you run a trace to capture the MDX statement to review the query?  What type of front-end tool are you using?  How long does the query run before you receive this message?  Can you provide the details about the query at all?  Have you monitored the server load at all?

Any information that you can provide besides the message will be helpful.

Load on the server is pretty heavy some time. I have run a trace to but see it get cancel as soon as "Query End" event happens. The front end tool is our custom dashboard and the MDX queries are custom and most of the time the they resolve quickly. Its not one query there many that get cancelled at the same time. These are real time cube processing every 15 mins.
