Possible to Customize "Add Task" Form? RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I've found a couple of posts on this, but no definite answer.  We need to customize the "Add Task" form when inserting new task in Project Server (see image below).  Nothing fancy so far, just need a few extra fields on the form.  Is this possible to do without creating a web part?  Really would love to avoid duplicating task addition code with PSI when it's already there.

    If you can't get away without a custom web part, how would you connect it to the Insert New Task button on the ribbon?  Also some post said to look in the SDK.  Is there anything similar in nature inside it?

    If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks in advance!
