    Hi,

    this is probably an easy one too...
    When I try to send an email notification, I get an error, saying the virtual machine is not properly configured to send emails....

    I found a document saying I have to edit the web.config within the \program files -directory of the Foundation Server-..... which I did.
    But the error is still the same

    any suggestions how to get this going?

    Could you describe the question in more detail? How did you send the eamil notification? What was the exact error message? Once ago, I wrote a blog abot Troubleshooting TFS alerts.
