Get-AzureRmApiManagement throws exception about subscription when there is no API Management RRS feed

  • Question

  • There is a problem with the PowerShell commandlet: 'Get-AzureRmApiManagement'. When using it in a subscription that does not have any API Management instances, it throw an exception: SubscriptionNotFound: Subscription does not exist.

This is wrong because the subscription does exist. The exception stops happening when there is an existing API Management instance. The expectation is that the result is null when asking for API Management in an subscription that doesn't have one. The error message is misleading, the subscription exists but does not contain any instances of the service.
