Context Menu customization in PowerPoint 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    Currently I'm trying to do some customization of Context menu in PowerPoint 2010. What I have done is:

    For "Picture" context menu in PowerPoint2010, with the following xml, I can show my customized menu item when right click on some picture in PowerPoint 2010:

    <contextMenu idMso="ContextMenuPicture">
          <dynamicMenu id="moiPictureMenu" getContent="GetContextMenu" getLabel="GetContextMenuLabel" getVisible="GetContextMenuVisible"/>
        </contextMenu>

    But I also want to customize the "Object" context menu in PowerPoint 2010, that means if I insert a Excel workbook as "interactive" workbook I also want to show this menu, does anyone know how to modify the corresponding "custom xml"?

    I think this should not be difficult, but I just don't know the exact "idMSO" for this context menu. Thanks.

  • Hi fma

    I can't see anything in the PowerPointControls.xlsx. From other questions that have come up, it appears that not all context menus got listed. You might also try asking on "Answers", where the PowerPoint specialists congregate. Someone there might know:

    Hi Cindy,

     I have post a similar message on "Answers", but no useful feedback. Can you help on this issue?

    Thanks.
