.NET Windows Service High CPU Usage on 64-Bit server, but <10% in 32-Bit local machine RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

My .NET Windows Service when installed (Any CPU-Build) and started in my local machine (32-bit). CPU Utilization is 10-12% and application is performing fine.

Same application when installed in DEV Win 2008 Server (64-bit) shoots up to 100% usage no sooner it starts. However no exceptions are thrown and application is functioning properly.

Can you suggest me how to troubleshoot this.

We use Enterprise Library 5.0 Logging/Caching/DataAccess blocks and IBM MQ client dlls.

    Thank you.
