Configure mouse cursor RRS feed

  • Question

  • This'll probably be easy enough to answer for someone with more mileage than me.

I have a form with about a dozen fields, tabs ordered for optimum data entry, all that good stuff. Problem is that some have complained that they cannot see the blinking cursor, so if they were momentarily distracted for example, they can't tell from looking what field is active. Is there a way to configure the mouse cursor so it's more visible, or have the text box change color or something to make it readily evident to anyone looking at the form just which field is active?

  • Hi tod. The quickest way is to go to the Form's Design View, select all the Textboxes for data entry and then go to Conditional Formatting and select Has Focus for the Condition. Hope it helps...

Hi tod. Here's another option, if you want more challenge: Using Code to Highlight Fields
