Problem in creating free account RRS feed

  • I tried to activate the free account, but I`m redirected to a page that says contact support to verify your good standing. And the link provided to support page, is the link for Azure support "options" and I don`t know where I`m expected to contact.

    First, what does this "Good standing" mean.

    Second, how can it be verified.

    Here`s the exact statement: "Your account must be good standing to sign up. Contact our support team to confirm your good standing."

  • Hello Sobhan,

    First check these suggestion -

    Make sure that the information that you provided for your Azure account profile (including contact email address, street address, and telephone number) is correct.
    Make sure that the credit card information is correct.
    Make sure that you don’t already have a Microsoft account that has the same information.

    Still if the above steps doesnt fit then try these steps -

    1: Start Chrome and then start a New Incognito Window 
    2: Clear browsing data (everything) 
    3: Go to https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/?ref=portal 
    4: Hit that FREE button 
    5: Log in 
    6: You should then be able to complete the Agreement section and get the Welcome to Azure page without seeing that error.
