Updating Schemas created through WCF service consumption RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am new to BizTalk Server 2009. I have a question regarding BizTalk Service Consumption.

I successfully created a WCF service and consumed it in BizTalk Server by using "Add Generated Items -> Consume WCF Service".

Since my WCF service and its data contract is evolving every day, is it possible to update the existing schema through "Consume WCF Service".

After updating the data contract in the WCF service and re-executing the "Consume WCF Service" against the same WCF Service, it created a new set of files.

Is it possible to specify the "Consume the WCF service" to update the existing schema files.

    regards

  • Hi, dseknat

You should delete the old files before re-executing the "Consume WCF Service".
