Available PCI Wi-Fi Adapter with CE6/WEC7 Driver RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm wondering if anyone can point me to currently available off-the-shelf (or low quantity OEM) wireless adapters that have Embedded Compact drivers?

Prefer a PCI/PCI-E device, but USB is possible (I've reviewed other threads for USB solutions, but most appear to be older or unavailable technology).

Prefer a device with integrated bluetooth but not a strict requirement.

    Thanks in advance,

    Erik

  • As per your requirement and cost i think you need contact the chip vendor and ask for WEC7 driver.

AFAIK WinCE6 drivers are available eg

    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/wlan_adapter/350_cb20a/user/win_ce/2-6/configuration/guide/icg5.html

But for NDIS6 (WEC7) i am not sure who provides. You can take Win7 driver source and customize if you are using x86 based arch

The Atheros module AR6K comes with WEC7 driver but thats sdio interfaced
