Any encryption changes in .Net Framework 4.5 RRS feed

  • I know you can't compile 2012 WPF applications anymore, if FIPS policy is in place.

    MS thought it was fixed but it was not. I guess this is because of a change to MsBuilld.

    I also noted that you can't share FormsAuthentication cookies between 4.0 and 4.5 sites.

    Was their a change to encryption in the framework?

  • default value for machine key changed in 4.5. Must now specify if you have sites using < 4.5 .
