InfoPath form Publishing(Activate/Deactivate the form template) Issue in SharePoint 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • HI Team,

    We are using SharePoint 2007.

We are facing InfoPath publishing(Activate/Deactivate form template to site collection level) issue through Central Admin.

We are able to Activate/Deactivate form template through STSADM commands.

But Customer wants InfoPath form publishing(Activate/Deactivate) through Central Admin.

    Issue -

The form template could not be activated to the following site collection:http://test/ . You do not have the permissions required to perform this operation. Only the administrators of this site collection can activate to the site collection. Either add yourself as a site collection administrator, or have a site collection administrator activate the form template.   at Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server.ApplicationPages.ActivateFormTemplatePage.ActivateFormOnSite(FormTemplate formTemplate, String siteUrl)
       at Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server.ApplicationPages.ActivateFormTemplatePage.CommitData(Object sender, EventArgs e)
       at Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server.ApplicationPages.FormTemplatePropertyPageBase.ButtonOkClick(Object sender, EventArgs e)
       at System.Web.UI.WebControls.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e)
       at System.Web.UI.WebControls.Button.RaisePostBackEvent(String eventArgument)
       at System.Web.UI.Page.RaisePostBackEvent(IPostBackEventHandler sourceControl, String eventArgument)
       at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint)

Please provide any solution/inputs to resolve this issue.

  • Seems like a straight forward resolution. Add yourself as a site collection admin.

  • Hi Scott,

We have already added user into particular Site Collection Admin.Even farm admin also not able to do.

This issue is coming on particular web application only(through Central Admin). We are able to Activate/Deactivate InfoPath forms on remaining web applications(through Central Admin and STSADM).

Please provide any solution/inputs to resolve this issue.
