Bing Maps Windows Store Apps 8.1 customize DirectionsManager.DirectionsInputView RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm working with Bing Maps for Windows Store Apps, and implementing a very nice article about providing directions in your app found here:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rbrundritt/archive/2014/05/19/how-to-create-nicely-formatted-directions-in-bing-maps-windows-store-apps-net.aspx

    I was wondering if there's a way to programmatically access the content of the DirectionsManager.DirectionsInputView, which is the UI for a user to type their To and From endpoints for directions?  I want to auto populate the TO field

    thanks

  • If you are using the code as it is, you can fill in the To field like this:

    ToLocation.Text = "Your location data";
