Imagery MetaData Image Size RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to get images to return at greater than 256x256 from the ImageryMetadata Rest API (using aerial view)?  I am currently using a Dev\Test license so could this be the reason they are that size?

  • The imagery metadata REST API only returns the base URL to the map tiles used by the Bing Maps controls, all of which use 256x256 tiles. If you want a static map image of a larger size you can use the standard Static Imagery service and request larger images: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff701724.aspx
