Closing or minimizing the OSK on windoes 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am writing a small accessibility application using processing (java)

In the past I was able to use taskkill to make the OSK go away, but now on windows 10 I receive a access denied error.

Is there a way to make this keyboard launch and hide from within my app?

I have been trying to close it but will work if it simply is minimized...

Are there any other solutions?  I am trying to use window's OSK because I like the word suggestion feature up on top....

Furthermore,  while I can type onto the OSK with my mouse, I am unable to type using the robot class....

The OSK reacts by highlighting the key that my mouse hovers over, but will not allow me to send it a click on key command (mouse button press)

The OSK is the only way that some people can access windows features and apps...  It is really important that I find a way to work with it....  I know it worked in earlier versions of windows, but the word completion feature and ability to resize it is a huge plus....

I hope you can help or point me in the right direction...
