Expressions on Table border properties RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    i have the following problem. In a subreport i have a table that displays lines/rows of a order/offer.
    There are subtotals and totals which should have line over them when there is more than 1 total line.

    What i tried is setting the topborder to a solid line in the textbox that containts the total.
    code:

    <TopBorder>
       <Style>=iif(Sum(Fields!TotalRowCount.Value, "Parameter") = 1,"Default","Solid")</Style>
    </TopBorder>

    It gives me this error:

    Error 4 The BorderStyle expression for the report ‘body’ contains an error: [BC30201] Expression expected.

    So is there an error in my code or is the BorderStyle field not possible for use with expressions? Or is there maybe another solution for this problem?

    I am very thankfull for any help to solve this problem.

  • <Border>
     <Color>White</Color>
    <Style>=IIF(Fields!PreisNormalzeit.Value = 0,"","Solid")</Style>
    </Border>
    <TopBorder>
    <Color>Black</Color>
    </TopBorder>

    Also found a sollution, by putting it into the default value it worked. If you put the expression into one of the border parts(top,left etc.) it wont.
