QueueUpdateProject with SOAP request RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I tried  a QueueUpdateProject via XML SOAP request:

    <soap:Envelope>
      <soap:Body>
        <QueueUpdateProject>
          <jobUid>A6A23488-287C-4BC9-AECA-15C5916CF333</jobUid>
          <sessionUid>0EEAE6AB-0E1A-440F-A86C-6E1B806CE6F8</sessionUid>
          <ProjectDataSet>
            <Project>
              <PROJ_UID>94a074b4-c808-418a-b0f4-cba422a6b027</PROJ_UID>
              <PROJ_TYPE>0</PROJ_TYPE>
              <ProjectOwnerID>91d42e72-20c6-43fa-bb33-d7602d4be7b4</ProjectOwnerID>
            </Project>
          </ProjectDataSet>
          <validateOnly>false</validateOnly>
        </QueueUpdateProject>
      </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>

    But it didn't work.

    The following error message appears:

    <soap:Envelope>
      <soap:Body>
        <soap:Fault>
          <faultcode>soap:Server</faultcode>
          <faultstring>

       at Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.WebService.Project.QueueUpdateProject(Guid jobUid, Guid sessionUid, ProjectDataSet dataset, Boolean validateOnly)
          </faultstring>

          </faultactor>
          <detail>
            <errinfo>
              <general>
                <class name="PROJ_UID">
                  <error id="1009" name="ProjectIDInvalid" uid="17e5833f-180d-4a85-9352-fb89af5a7cf4"/>
                </class>
              </general>
            </errinfo>
          </detail>
        </soap:Fault>
      </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>

    What is wrong with my xml-request?

    The project method CheckOutProject or ReadProject is working in this way.

    Regards

    Roland
