  • If you are using spaces in your table names you have to put the name in brackets []. Also use True instead of yes.
    UPDATE [Member Removed]
      SET id_used=True
      WHERE mem_id= [ID from some form control]
    

    If it still doesn't work: What datatype is id_used? Is it a Autovalue field?

    I'm getting this error in Access query in my Visual Basic Application.

    Query:

    UPDATE Member Removed SET id_used=Yes WHERE mem_id=(ID from some form control)

  • You should give some more information where you get this error. In a form (bound to what kind of datasource), query or table (Access or linked)
