Uninstalling a Web Application RRS feed

     Im trying to uninstall a web application that I made a web setup for in VS2008. It installs fine and the unistall completes. However, the problem is in IIS the Application doesn't delete fully.

    So the highlighted Application is unistalled and the files are deleted as well.

    Is there any way of getting rid of this after uninstall using some sort of custom action or something?

    Hi,

    I am glad you can use this search utility to find solution.

    With Windows Installer, the computer keep a database of information about every application that it installs, including files, registry keys, and components. When an application is uninstalled, the database is checked to make sure that no other applications rely on a file, registry key, or component before removing it.

    In some cases, the folder created won't be removed while uninstalling. You can create Custom Action to clear it.
