  • Hi Måns,

According to your description, when you click the “Pin to Power BI Dashboard” button,  the error throws out, right?

In Reporting Services, starting from the SQL Server 2016 CTP 3.0, we are able to pin reports to Power BI dashboard. In your scenario, please check if you have installed other SQL Server version before in the environment. Make sure all SQL Server components are SQL Server CTP 3.0, without any other SQL Server version components exist.

Besides, I would suggest you take a look at this article about pin the report to Power BI: Pin Reporting Services charts to Power BI dashboards with SQL Server 2016 CTP 3.0. If issue persist, you can submit a comment in this article, the expert Riccardo within the SQL Server product team will help you out of the issue.

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
