Crash when entering expression editor RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Can anyone help please. I'm working with VS2010 Ultimate SP1, fully updated.

If I create a new Workflow Console Application (or I'm sure any other Workflow - my original problem was with a build definition file) then I get an error (at least) each time I do something that envokes the Expression editor. If for example I add a sequence, then a writeln and click on its Text field an error like this will be raised and I will be thrown out of VS2010

    Exception ProcessingMEssage 0x0000005 Parameters 0x000007FEFD21718C 0x000007FEFD21718C 0x000007FEFD21718C 0x000007FEFD21718C

I've had a look around and note that 0x0000005 is sometimes relatd to memory and registry problems but have successfully run various memory checks and registry cleans.
Any toughts greatly appreciated. This is from the end of my VS2010 log when this happens:
