  • Question

  • I have my organization is set as Party under parties. say MyOrg

    I created another party say Party1 then create agreement between  Party1 and MyOrg . Good working fine.

    Now I have Party2 and trying to create agreement  between Party2 and MyOrg . In both case my ReceiverdId is same (that is ISA7).

        When I try to save this, I get error saying Business Identity [receiverId] is already use by another partner .

    How I can fix this error? As every case my receiver id will be same.

  • No, this works out of the box.

    Be very careful.  Almost certainly it's either:

    A) You're working in the wrong direction on one of the Agreements

    B) You unintentionally created a duplicate.

    As you can see by the screen shots, it does work.

  • Yes it was my bad. I messed up parties my dev environment .

    I had created one myorgtest with  qual 01 and id senderid

    then create agrrement1  with party1 and myorgtest good working fine

    now created myorg with qual ZZ and id sendid1

    but now tried to create agrrement2 between party2 and myorg

    with qual 01 and senderid (which used by myorgtest).

    That is reason of error and confusion (I should delete myorgtest ,but forget to delete and cause this issue).

  • It's pretty easy to get the US->THEM, THEM->US backwards.

    You're Party must always be either the sender or receiver and you must use the same Business Profile for each Agreement.

  • correct I am using same business profile . I am getting this error when try to create agreement.  I understood reason for error also. As mentioned above

    when I configure agreement between Party1->MyOrg  that time I configure identifier as

    ISA5->08 and ISA6->Party1SenderId

    ISA7->01 and ISA8->ReceiverId

    good no issue.

    Now trying to configure another party that is Party2

    Create agreement Party2-->MyOrg

    ISA5->09 and ISA6->Party2SenderId

    ISA7->01 and ISA8->ReceiverId

    In both case ISA7 and ISA8 is same.

    Based on error my understanding is each agreement we should have ISA7 and ISA8 combination should be different.

      I don't know my understanding is correct or not. If it is case then definatly problem for me as I can't configure same combination in different agreements. If that is case what is solution?

  • I just double checked and it worked for me using the same ID for my home party as Sender ID and Receiver ID in two different Agreements.

    As a matter of practice, I make the home party the First Party in an Agreement, though that shouldn't matter.

    Also, ISA01 and ISA08 are not a pair.  ISA07 and ISA08 are the Receiver Qual and ID.

  • ok.

    One question did you kept Receive Qual (ISA07) same?

    If I keep same ReciverId (ISA08) but different receiver qual (ISA07) then it works.

    Example first agreement I used pair 00 receiverid(00 is receiver qual )

    for second agreement I used ZZ receiverid (ZZ is receiver qual).

    It work with above scenario.

    But if I make

    First agreement as 00 receiverid and second agreement as 00 receiverid .In short same combination then I get above error.

    Just want to confirm .

  •  Do you use DestinationParty Name? try to Leave it blank or use different value.

    Thanks, Angela

  • ZZ:USRECEIVER in both Agreements as the local Receiver ID.
