  • Hi All,

I am implementing BAM. Here we dont want to change our existing Biztalk Projects.

I want the following information to be tracked in BAM,

1)Can I count how many records are there in incoming message?

2)Can I read a variable value declared in orchestration?

3)Can we get error message if msg fails in pipeline?

    Thanks,

    Sarva.

  • Do no want to change our existing BizTalk Projects implies that you wish to use only TPE. In that case the answer to all your questions is NO.

You can use XPATH and count() to get the number of records but in an Orchestration. Orchestration variables are available only in an Orchestration. You can get an error message if case message fails in the pipeline BUT NOT in TPE.

    Regards.

  • U would have to use BAM APIs and code in orch to record the variable value in ur BAM views.
