Someone explains to me through an example how kinect bees work? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to implement a human skeleton recognition system in C #, where I have to extract features using kinect.
I could not find an explanatory example online that made me understand how it is possible, given an image, for example, to extract a geometric model of the skeleton, through kinect.
Could someone kindly give me information about it?

    Thank you.

  • It's not the image so much but the sequence of images. And it also involves machine learning for recognition.

Can you elaborate a bit? Do you want to roll your own skeleton tracking algorithm?

  • Here's the original paper on the Kinect's body tracking:

Even though it was originally released during the Kinect v1 days it's still mostly relevant.
