  • Perhaps a repair of VS is in order?

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.

  • I did answer. Did you repair the installation? Perhaps a full uninstall/reinstall?

  •  I tried to repair it but it showed a message that 'update 2 does not apply, or is blocked by another condition on your computer.'

  • What's the latest update of your VS2013 installation? The latest available is update 3, try installing that.
