  • Hi

Laura--> It's Enterprise and yes they are available on the team site...

James--> Yup - also tried to deactivate - and activate the features

dbottjer--> Nope - but the webapp has been deleted and recreated.. - the stsadm nor the powershell command solved it...:(

    - I did the export of the webparts form the team site and uploaded them to the publishing site... - that worked fine.. ;0)

  • What version of sharepoint is it?  Enterprise or Standard?  Are those web parts available to you in other non-publishing sites?

  • Are the "SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection features" site collection feature enabled and the " SharePoint Server Enterprise Site features" web feature?

  • Hi Aarsleff,

By chance was this an upgraded SharePoint Farm? I've seen this behavior on site collections upgraded from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010.  You can run the following command:

stsadm -o activateFeature -name "PortalLayouts" -url "http://<SharepointServer>/sites/<SiteCollection>" –force

You can also simply export the web part definition (DWP) from the web part gallery on the working site collections and import the DWP into the web part gallery of the site collection where it is missing.

    Hope this helps.
