  • Hi,

I would also consider using Data Flow(s) within an SSIS package to ETL your Excel files into SQL Server table(s) and use your SQL Server table(s) as a data source for your SSRS reports. My gut feeling is that if this is a one off exercise then go withn Shahfaisal's solution. If these Excel spreadsheets into SSRS is going to form part of a repeatable business process I vote for the SSIS route.

    Kind Regards,

    Kieran.

  • I would use SSIS package to merge the files into SQL Server table and then just create a dataset points to that table in SSRS
