How to shadow a RDP session? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We wrote our own RDP client in C++.How do we exploit the invitation string returned by the RpcShadow2 function call of Terminal Server Runtime Interface Protocol [MS-TSTS]?

    Here is an example of this invitation string:

    <E><A KH="j+eaQ4NAfs8tArFxXpr3pr4VppQ=" KH2="sha256:y69mwFU9WPuagJbeXfskZjSUlV2K9YJKGHCx7shjrh8=" ID="D7gosLaKdtM5Ed/N2BYnh7Fr3SjYfSyzgR16flpTf0T62dl7dCJHnqt2+YG/YvxD"/><C><T ID="1" SID="0"><L P="58077" N="fe80::946b:cb15:ede8:bdfd%2"/><L P="58078" N=""/></T></C></E>

    Should I use
    Session Selection Extension [MS-RDPEPS]Should we implement Remote Assistance Protocol [MS-RA] ?I

    I found this post ( in this forum. But I will need more details on how to do this.

    Thank you very much!

  • Hi Raphael:

    The string that you specified is described in [MS-RAI] document ( MS-RAI also describes what other protocols are needed to use the connection string 2 to setup a remote assistance session.

    Please let me know if this does not answer your question.

    Also if you have any other questions, please send us an email to dochelp at Microsoft dot com. You can also post your question here.
