  • The command is not available on any ribbon, but it can be added.

Right click on any ribbon and select Customize the Ribbon to open the Project Options dialog.

On the right, select the tab you'd like to add the command to and click the New Group button to add a new group to the ribbon.  Rename as needed.

On the left, select Commands not in the Ribbon from the drop-down list at top.

Scroll to find Insert Page Break in the list.

Click the Add button to add it to your new group.

When you insert the page break in your view, it will be inserted above the selected task.  To remove the page break, select the task below the page break and click the Insert Page Break button again to remove.

  • Hi,

What is exactly your need with page breaks? Is it for printing or just for formatting the MS Project file?

As far as I know, the page break feature like in MS Word doesn't exist in MS Project.

    Hope this helps,

  • Thanks Julie, it is great help.  I was using earlier versions of MS Project and there use to be a menu item for insert and remove page breaks.  This was great. Thanks once again.
