  • Hello,

    I want to programmatically search for addresses from Outlook Address Book using Outlook Object Model. Could you please guide how can I go about it?

  • As I have already mentioned in the previous thread, no.

    Your only options are Extended MAPi or Redemption.

  • What is your search criteria? Are you just trying to resolve some value (name, address, etc) to a list of matches?

  • Hello Dmitry,

    The application will need to search for email addresses and the name from 'All Groups' and 'All Users' address lists.

    For e.g.

    The input would be "*TOM* and the return object should be all the addresses in the above two address list containing TOM either in the first name, last name or in the DL Name.

    There is option Session.AddressBook in CDO 1.2.1. Do, we have any similar feature in OOM?
