Which Office 2013 versions support COM automation? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I can't find a checklist which shows which of the Office 2013 versions support the Automation (COM) library. Anybody who have an URL to a resource which can tell me more.

I now that Office 2013 Professional support it and the Office 2013 RT doesn't.

But there should be somewhere written if it is supported in the other versions or not. This way I now which versions I need to install and test if our program still works correctly. And don't need to install and test it with all versions.

Thank you for the answer and regards

  • All Office applications support COM Add-ins except for OneNote.  FYI, start here as your developer reference:

Home | Office Dev Center | VSTO, tools, downloads, | MSDN
