PointF in WM6??? RRS feed

  • Hello all:

    I am trying to use PointF type in WM6 C# application and am getting error (Namespace/reference) error. I am using syste,drawing.drawing2d

    Any help is appreciated???

  • You might also need to add a reference to the System.Drawing assembly (Project menu, Add Reference).  An assembly must be referenced for the compiler to call code in it.  The "using" keyword basically just lets you shortcut the syntax so you do not need to type the full type name "System.Drawing.PointF" all the time.

    Also, make sure that you are doing a "using System.Drawing;" -- the Drawing2D is not what you want because PointF is in simply System.Drawing.

    For WPF applications, you will not want System.Drawing and should use System.Windows.Point instead (assembly: PresentationFramework).
